How he was trained
His certification comes from the Sivananda International Yoga and Vedanta Ashram, and Yoga Alliance USA recognises him as an E‑RYT 500, a grading that requires both a registered qualification and documented teaching hours behind it. In September 2026 he completed Reiki Level 1 and Level 2, which the school now offers as a separate complementary practice rather than as part of a class.
How he teaches
The teaching is not loyal to a single school. Sivananda supplies the sequence and the emphasis on relaxation and pranayama, and the precision about alignment comes from elsewhere. What stays constant is that a class is asana, pranayama and meditation together, and that a correction is made out loud in the room rather than left for the student to find.
Where he has taught
Residential retreats at Visramam in Kovalam, one-day intensives, hotel and campus programmes from The Leela Kovalam to Manifest in Bengaluru. Every one of them is listed by year on the retreats page. The three asana films on the school's channel are him explaining a posture at the pace he teaches it.
What students say
